meet OUR ATTORNEYS


Benjamin E. Olive, Esq. was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He attended the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. Upon graduating with Bachelor of Arts in Government, Mr. Olive attended Vanderbilt where he received his Juris Doctorate. Mr. Olive is admitted to the Florida Bar and the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida. Before opening Olive & Associates, P.A., Mr. Olive worked with Gunster, Yoakley & Stewart, P.A., focusing his practice on commercial and real estate related litigation.

Andrea Montavon-McKillip, Esq. was born and raised in Southern Illinois. She graduated with College Honors from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Spanish Language and Literature. Before law school, Andrea worked as an Immigration Legal Assistant at Minsky, McCormick & Hallagan, PC, a distinguished immigration law firm in Chicago. She attended the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law in Tucson, where she won the Snell & Wilmer Best Published Note Award for her Note, C.A.T. Among Pigeons: The Convention Against Torture, A Precarious Intersection Between International Human Rights Law and U.S. Immigration Law, 44 Ariz. L. Rev. 247 (2002), published in the Arizona Law Review. She participated as a Student Attorney in the University of Arizona’s Immigration Law Clinic, representing individuals in front of the Immigration Court in Tucson, and advising clients on an assortment of immigration issues. She also interned with the Immigration Unit of the Federal Public Defender. She graduated cum laude with her Juris Doctorate, and is admitted to the Illinois Bar. She worked in appellate litigation in Chicago, arguing before the Illinois Appellate and Supreme Courts, before joining Olive & Associates to head the immigration law department. Andrea is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. She speaks Spanish fluently, and has studied and lived in Mexico and Spain.

 

Kristy E. Armada Esq. was born in Miami, Florida. She attended the University of Florida, earning her Bachelor of Science in Finance and her Juris Doctorate. She furthered her education at the University of Miami School of Law where she obtained her LL.M. in Real Property Development. Ms. Armada speaks fluent Spanish and is admitted to practice law with the Florida Bar. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Armada refined her litigation skills as an Assistant Public Defender for Palm Beach County. In addition, Ms. Armada completed internships with Gunster Yoakley & Stewart, P.A. and Mombach, Boyle & Hardin, P.A.
